A Lady Of Darkness

I am in my late 30s, and live in the midwest. I work out of my home as a medical transcriptionist. Most people who know me, in my "real life" know little or nothing about my dark side. They know I love dark fiction and movies, etc., but they don't really know how deeply the darkness in my extends. It would not be "acceptable" to them. Fortunately, I have found the internet, where I have been able to be accepted for what I am, nothing has to be hidden away. I can celebrate the darkness inside me, and have found others who are the same.
I am the lady next door, the mom who does all the school field trips and class parties. I spent a lot of years being a normal wife, even though I knew from the start it was not what I wanted or needed. It was, however, expected, and so I went along...for a long time.
I love the computer, surfing the 'net, chatting on IRC (internet relay chat), and making web sites. This is the second site that I've done, its a great way express myself. I hope that you will share my darkness without judging me, and perhaps learn something along the way; about yourself, or about others who were like me.
